Academic Requirements :

PG- Minimum 55% in Bachelor degree

UG - Minimum 60% -70%in 12th  year ( standard)  of School Education

IELTS Requirements :

PG ( for most programs 6.0 , some programs 6.5 ) with no band less than 5.5

UG ( for most programs 6.0 , some programs 6.5) with no band less than 5.5

Pre-sessional English - is available ( one separate CAS will be provided for pre-sessional and the main program )

Minimum Deposit to get CAS : 50%£ but with high-risk countries more initial payment can be asked.  

Application processing time :  2-3 week for high-risk country students , 1-2 week for the low-risk country student. For UG program student can make a direct application  . History
Leeds Beckett University has a 190 year history of teaching in the city.
Leeds Mechanics Institute was the university’s founding college in 1824.
In September 2014, the university changed its name from Leeds Metropolitan University to Leeds Beckett University. Beckett Park is where a number of the university’s predecessor colleges were established, the first being the City of Leeds Training College in 1913, and is still home to the university’s Headingley Campus.

Location and Transportation


Leeds Beckett has two campuses, one in the heart of the city of Leeds and the leafy, historic Headingley Campus, which is about 3 miles north of the city centre. The university’s two campuses are within walking or cycling distance from each other and are close to popular shops and services.
There are regular bus services connecting all halls of residence to both the City and Headingley campuses.
Leeds Bradford International Airport, which provides access to more than 75 countries around the world, is 10 miles from the City Campus and can be reached easily by bus or taxi.
