Academic Requirements:

PG- Minimum 55%-65% in Bachelor degree

UG – Minimum60%- 70% in 12th year (standard)  of School Education

IELTS Requirements:

PG for most program 5.5, some program 5.0 with no band less than 4.5

UG (for most programs 5.5 some programs 5.0) with no band less than 4.5

Pre-sessional English - is available (two separate CAS will be provided for pre-sessional and the main program)

Minimum Deposit to get CAS : £50% but with high-risk countries more initial payment can be asked.  

Application processing time :  2-3 week for high-risk country students , 1-2 week for the low-risk country student. For UG program student can make a direct application Credibility interview may be required to pass for an unconditional offer and CAS. The university is located in central Birmingham and offers both vocational and academic education at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The university specializes in the areas of hospitality and the culinary arts, hairdressing and beauty, tourism, business enterprise, marketing, business management accounting, finance, event management, sport management sport medicine, sports therapy and Early Year education.   

History
The University enjoys historical strengths in the creative and performing arts: the Birmingham Government School of Design – the first college of design outside London – was opened in 1843 and Birmingham School of Music (later Birmingham Conservatoire) in 1886. Both were later incorporated into the university.
University status was achieved in 1992, and•the new name of Birmingham City University was adopted in 2007, reflecting the university’s commitment to, and pride in, its home city.

Birmingham is located at the heart of the UK's road and rail networks. There are three city centre railway stations, and the city is at the centre of Britain's national coach network, connecting directly with 500 destinations.
Birmingham Airport has connections to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, with further plans for expansion in the coming years.
