Academic Requirements:

PG- Minimum 55% -60%in Bachelor degree

UG - Minimum70% in 12th  year ( standard)  of School Education

IELTS Requirements:

PG ( for most programs 6.0 , some programs 6.5 ) with no band less than 5.5

UG ( for most programs 6.0 , some programs 6.5) with no band less than5.5

Pre-sessional English -is available (One separate CAS will be provided for pre-sessional and the main program )

History
The University of British Columbia (UBC) was founded in 1908 and enjoys a reputation as one of the top universities in Canada.
It is a co-educational, secular institution with over 56,000 students from more than 40 countries.
UBC faculty and alumni are represented in 120 countries and include seven Nobel laureates and Canada's first female Prime Minister, Kim Campbell.

Location and Transport


The two main campuses are Vancouver (on the Point Grey peninsula in the city of Vancouver) and Okanagan (a purpose-built campus, with seven faculties, in Kelowna).
The University also has facilities for events and digital media courses in the centre of Vancouver.
The Vancouver campus is a 30-minute bus ride from the city centre, on Vancouver's public transport system Translink. The campus is idyllically located, with natural boundaries of forest and the Strait of Georgia (Pacific Ocean).
The Okanagan campus is a 3.5-hour drive from the nearest international airport, Abbotsford near Vancouver.
